  1. in my experience, firstly, you need to convert the video you got from youtube to avi or wmv with a flv converter(i recommend converting to wmv, avi doesn't work in powerpoint sometimes), then you can easily put the converted video onto your powerpoint.

  6. Commonly there are two steps:

    1.Download a video from YouTube

It's very easy. There are many methods for you to choose from, and the easiest way is to use this website:

You can take any video formats you want from YouTube.

Then embed the YouTube video to your PowerPoint.

    2. Embed YouTube video into PowerPoint

    Tips:

Always put the movie in the same folder as your PowerPoint presentation. If you later move the PowerPoint presentation to another computer, copy the movie too. Keeping your movie in the same folder as your presentation ensures the link will still work. However, you should always test the movie on a new machine just to be certain. Re-insert the movie, if necessary.

PowerPoint 2003 and PowerPoint 2007 may a little different.

  7. Just follow these steps, and you'll be able to show all your good videos on powerpoint presentation:

1- download the youtube video with "zillatube". Get the program from http://www.zillatube.com. This program helps to download and convert those videos the fastest way possible for your powerpoint. Other methods are slow.

2- using zillatube, convert it into mpg video format.

3- final step, a simple step, just insert movie file(using the file menu above the powerpoint program) the mpg video into power point.

Just 3 simple steps, and you can present your powerpoint with videos without online at all.

(Note:  make sure the mpg video is placed in the same folder with your powerpoint file, then you can bring the folder to any computer and view it)

all the best to your presentation.
