If you want a photo/custom picture as your avatar you need to make a yahoo 360 page. http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

click "my page" then "edit personal photo" then browse upload and save Set as primary. and save. go to your avatar choose your avatar>preview>OK. then go to yahoo>my profile>edit my info then click use my 360 picture>preview then OK.

Some users are experiencing a problem with the 360 avatar. it can take some time to show but it will eventually so try to be be patient.

You have to post the photo on another website first and then just paste in the link to this photo here.

Try hosting your photos on one of the free photo hosting web sites. You can post images that are not photos there too.

Try posting images to: photobucket . com

Then, when you have the image uploaded, right click on it, save the address, and then just paste it here.
