How do u reboot a commputer?

i want to reboot a compyuter without turning it on because my commputer cannot start windows to log in

LOL rebooting means tuning off and back on!!  can't do that with out turning on!

I think what you're trying to find out is how to start it in safe mode.  Have your finger on the F8 or F10 (not sure what F number it is for you) and power up your computer.  Within a few seconds, when it's on that black screen, it'll pop up very fast on the bottom what button you need to press.  What you're looking for is Safe Mode.  You want to start your computer in Safe Mode so you can see what's wrong with it.  Hope that helps!  G'luck, Mary

That isn't possible. By definition, a computer must be turned on first before it can be rebooted. You cannot reboot something that hasn't been booted first!

If Windows doesn't start, you may need to do a repair install. Boot from your Windows media and follow the on-screen instructions.

I think you mean reimage.  Rebooting is just power cycling your computer.

In order to reimage you need the OS install CD, a backup of what you can NOT lose from your current machine, and time.
