This will depend on what version of the Curve you are using. The Curve 8330 (Verizon, Alltel and Sprint) comes with out-of-the-box video recording. The previous Curve models (8300, 8310 and 8320) require operating system v4.5 installed in order to have video recording.

If you have the Curve 8330 then there should be a video recording icon on the home screen. If you have a Curve 8300, 8320 or 8310 then you will need to install the 4.5.0 operating system (if it is available) and then go to the video recording icon.

you cant record videos on the blackberry curve,but im pretty sure when the new os4.5 update comes out you can download the upgrade from blackberry.com and that will make it play videos,just keep checking blackberry .com for the update
