How do u set the timer on a intermatic timer??(for a pool)?

so many designs if looks like a 24 hr clock face set 1 pin to start 1 to stop if dual faces one start  one finish  im probley just making matters worse there is 5 or 6 diffrent designs do you have mfg name email me or search web they should better info  i just work on my own pool ive had a couple of diff ones get it working come on back we will play a game of pool
