How do u shut up a cricket? PLEASE HELP!!!?

i have a cricket in my room and i cant find it. if it is very lould and is keeping me awake. please help

Well i can't tell you how to shut him up but i may be able to help you catch him. This is what I used to do to catch crickets for fish bait.

Take a loaf of a hard crusty bread like sour dough or hard rye or something along those lines.  Cut a one in hole in each end of the loaf and using a wire from a coat hanger or something similar scrape out most of the softer bread inside. Put the loaf where you suspect the cricket is. The crickets are attracted to the smell of the bread, and they will go inside to eat the soft bread. Cover both holes when you pick it up the next day and bring it outside and shake it out.   Hopefully that will work for you.

Probably not going to make a lot of friends with this one. Many times a cricket will get in the space under a baseboard and the carpet. In the past I have located them there and poured a cup of really hot water there. Sounds mean but it gets the job done. Desperate times require desperate measures!

Wait for it to die.

Spray the edge of room with bug spray?
