  1. Wow, that's a very loaded question....well the best thing for you to do is to check out this website, it should tell you a lot about setting up your aquarium, including what you need to buy (even some reviews), and how to care for your aquarium and fish.

Of course, lots more research wouldn't go astray :)

    Good luck!!!

  2. You start a saltwater tank by reading a good book and finding a good website such as wetwebmedia or anything by Bob Fenner, from there you decide on where you are going to put your tank, out of direct sunlight and off an outside wall, from there you decide what size tank you need saltwater a good size to start is 55 gallons, then you learn what it means to cycle a tank,

once you know that, you start on your  equipment, a tank a stand, a good hood (one day you may want corals) Live rock and Live sand, a good saltwater filter, heater and maybe a skimmer, a hydrometer to measure salinity and instant ocean salt, and a good water conditioner.   then you research fish and what fish can go in that size tank and what can live together

this will give you an idea of what fish are out there

and what fish can live together.

    goodluck.

all fish eat different things, that will depend on the fish you get, some eat flake food, others eat a meaty diet, some eat seaweed or algae...you will have to do a lot of research.
