How do u stop a malicious person who has your IP address?

Theres this freak named Waylon who keeps hacking me and I think he has my IP address. HELP?!

If this is a real problem, it is punishable by law. In other words, this is a crime and can be reported to the police. This is especially true if there is private information that can be stolen from your computer.

If this hacking is done over the internet, using a good firewall might help, although a good hacker can bypass any defense.

If you know him personally, speaking directly with him can resolve problems.

Well IP addresses are certainly not hard to find. Every site you go to knows your IP. You could have police and your internet provider trace him, if he is truly hacking you. Get a router if you do not have one, (if you have high speed.) That would help keep him out, but not necessarily hold him out completely. Get a good firewall if you do not have a good one, that would certainly help keep him out. I recommend Comodo Pro from Comodo's website, it is free. However do not have more then one firewallturned on, that would be a bad idea.

if he's hackign you then you probably installed some software that he could have edited to give him access to your computer. what you ahve to do is think about what programs you have recently installed and if the site where you downloaded the software is reputable. sometimes you can see what programs are running on your computer by checking the "task manager" after pressing ctrl-alt-dlt, through there you can see what programs are using what amount of memory and if there are any discrepencies, if someone is hacking you then one program should stand out using a whole lot of memory, find out where it is on your computer and try and delete it ...

You can get a software that changes your ip address to prevent hackers. Seach google.
