How do u study to become a translator/interpretor? Are there any universities I can go to?

Im proficient in french, chinese and english. How many languages must u speak and write before your considered a linguist?

I think you are already a linguist!  There are many universities where you can study the science of language and learn more about the structure of the languages you know.  Georgetown University in Washington DC is one famous place to study interpretation, but there are many others as well.
