Well first of all...you need a pet. There are three ways to get a pet, depending on which one you want. You can buy a dog from one of the two pet stores I know of( In talvery and Yanille). You can buy a kitten from Gertrude in Varrock after doing the Gertrude's Cat quest. And finally, you can get all the other pets by hunting them in their certain locations all over the world. You need to also remember that each pet needs a certain type of food or they run away and that you need a certain summoning lvl for each pet. Then when you have a pet, you put it in your inventory. Then right click and choose drop and your pet will follow you around everywhere you go! have fun =P
