How do u switch king and root in your online chess game?

Greetings!  I guess it depends on the program you use.  I haven't played online chess, but on my Chessmaster program, once you have cleared out the king's bishop and knight, move the king toward the rook.  If it is cleared, the move automatically adjusts the rook and king to the rightful place.

Just drag your king two spaces towards the rook. The computer will not allow it if it is an illegal move.
