How do u tell if ur glasses are polarized?

If your glasses are completely polarized, you should not be able to see anything through the lenses.

Another way is to look at an lcd digital clock/stereo.  If you hold them in front of you and look through them, you should be able to see the lcd screen just fine.  Rotate the glasses 90 degrees and the screen should look black.   Sometimes cheapie sunglasses don't orient the lens material in the right direction, so you might have to play with it, but if they're polarized, it'll work.

If you hold a polarized lens over another one and rotate it light will be cut off.  Another way is to look at light reflecting off water ... with polarized lens you won't see anywhere near as much "glint" off the water as with non polarized.
