How do u tell the difference in baby mice and baby gerbils?? ?

i found a litter of one of the two and thay have no mother and im trying to figure out if thay are field mice or gerbils cause i have lost some gerbils not to long ago and i found the litter in an empty trailer we have

Gerbils come in all different color and field mouse can be brown, keep an eye on them and if the a few color gerbils, also i would leave them there for the mother to come back than take mother and baby,

and if the mother a mouse what will the pups be!

Gerbils and mice look very a like at a young age.

Could you post a picture? We wont be able to tell you what it is unless you tell us
