The earth and the other planets are belived to have been created from a mass of gas and colliding dust particles that swirled around the young proto-sun,being pulled together by gravity.We have to believe it as that is a possibility.

I watched an awesome show on the history channel last month.  It's called how the earth was made.  You should check it out.  I was glued to the TV and my kids even watched it with me.....we couldn't turn it off!
