Blackjack: you must learn the game and understand it completely, including the odds of every hand, and how these odds are based on the rules for the casino or even the table you are playing at. For example, some casinos hit soft 17, and some do not, and this is a disadvantage to the player when they do. Pick the game at a casino with the best set of rules for the player, especially look for "surrender" being offerred. Use the basic strategy, and play it consistently.

If you play blackjack with friends,be the bank.

If you play it at a casino,play at a table with as many other players as possible,and stand on 17 or more.

Poker and Blackjack are two completely different games.

Poker is played against other people, and the house takes a cut of the pots (or in the case of tournaments charges an entry fee).  The great thing about poker is that if you have enough skill you will likely be a long term winner.  And since the house get paid either way, they don't care if you win all the time.

Blackjack is a game played against the house.  Unfortunately, for the vast majority of people the house edge will eventually take your money.  People who become really good at Blackjack, learning the strategies, and maybe even card counting can sometimes neutralize the house edge.  But if they win too much, they may simply be asked not to play any more.

In either case, you win through practice, skill, experience and study.  There is no shortcut to learning a skill.  It would be like asking, how do you win at golf.
