How do upload a video on youtube?

I have a camera that I can also use to record stuff...but when I try putting it on youtube, it tells me "it may take a few minutes to upload" , about 20min. have passed, but still no uploading, why is it doing that? I have high speed internet!

1.Click the "Upload" button in the upper-right-hand corner of any YouTube page.

Enter as much information about your video as possible, including Title, Description, Tags, and Category. The more information you include, the easier it is for users to find your video!

Determine if you want your video set to Public or Private.

Click the "Upload a Video..." button.

In the next window, click the "Browse" button to browse for the video file.

Select the file you want to upload.

Click the "Upload Video" button.

I have noticed that sometimes it's easier to use the multiple video uploads. For some reason when I use the regular upload spot it never does a thing, I have had an easier time using it when it's not a busy time with the server.

it depends on your connection speed and also the file size you're uploading... the smaller the file the faster you can upload...

It is recommended that you upload wmv file format... good quality and smaller size.. so faster upload... and also faster processing.

Using windows movie maker -- you have to save it into the proper file format, that is wmv file (use the "save movie file" on the menu at the top left) before upload..

--for best editing....

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

Go to the top panel and click videoss.

then click on the yellow button in the right corner that says upload.

name and give a description, including the names of any copyright owners, and click next.

select file using the browse button to find the video on the computer and press upload.

it should appear on your channel in the next 15 mins.
