  1. It is not as good as the other ones you mentioned but if you take care of it it should be a good table

  2. Good bar boxes but not as good as those

I have an 8ft valley bar box I will trade for a 7 ft

Now Kids Behave  1 more time

    9ft  Tournament size table

    8ft regulation size-for a hundred years

    7ft Ok a bar box

    6ft a Pub Size

  3. there OK if properly maintained there not that bad.As for the guy who said never invest in a 4x8 table because there not regulation, this guy is obviously clueless, any table that has a 2/1 size ratio is considered "regulation" most 9' tables are actually 50" x 100" most 8' tables are actually ether 46"x92 or 44"x88" and 7' tables are 40"x80" the 7' tables may vary slightly  by manufacturer. all of these sizes are considered "regulation" due to the fact that the length is always twice the width.

  4. Valley make a good "Bar-Box" (3 1/2' x 7')

Personally, I'd never invest in an eight foot table. The dimensions are not regulation. At least a Bar-Box has proper dimensions ----- a 4x 8 does not.

Brunswick is THE best. Olhausen is fair, if you like a flat rail. Nothing beats a Brunswick!

NOTE: 4 1/2 x 9' IS a regulation table ....NOT 4 x 8. I have played pocket billiards on every size table there is ---even the NON-regulation 4 x 8. I am NO moron! I am a professional billliard player ------no need to be so rude. I didn't slam you just because your information is utterly false -----grow up!

Dearest indianjoe --- Regulation is 9' .......I'm 100% certain. I have played on the pro circuit for many years. They are STILL using 9' regulation tables. (unless it's a bar box pro tournament; which they still hold occasionally.  8 foot tables were actually made for living room pool enthusiasts. 7' bar boxes ARE Pub tables. I've NEVER seen a 6' table in my 34 yrs playing pool -----and I've seen some weird tables. I'm 47 now, and I still have never seen a 6 footer. I'm not meaning to argue with you (you're one of my favorite people on Y!A ) .

  5. 8Ft was regulation far before a 9ft was but valley is a good table sorry not as good as the other 2
