Vegetartarians do not eat chicken broth..it comes from meat and is a slaughter by product.  It's a misconseption that vegetarians just avoid meat.  We avoid anything from a dead animal.

Try making your own soup using vegetable stock, vegetables, and pasta.  You can even use tofu if you like.

If it's just chicken flavoured broth, I wouldn't be too bothered, although I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a product like this. If however, it's flavour is from chicken in any way, then I would defintely pass altogether. Otherwise, I wouldn't be veggie.

if it's made from meat it isn't vegetarian. this mean chicken broth, anything with gelatin, oyster or fish sauce, dressing with anchovy paste (like in a lot of ceaser salads), and cheese made with animal rennet

From my point of view...I can't do that...I don't think. Because unless it's totally artificially flavored then no...becase you would need a chicken to make real chicken broth...so...

You know I'm still confused on that part.

If you are a vegan..and you think that is ok..it is kind of hypocritical isn't it?  Do you eat eggs?  They are baby chickies!

Since chicken is our honorary vegetable, no problem!

Just kidding, chickens are nasty and a big reason why I'm veg.  I don't want them in my soup whether it is  chunks of them, or their juice.

They have to boil the meat and bones and innards to make the broth, so I'm opposed.

If it has any animal in it, I won't eat it. And unless I'm wrong in assuming that chicken broth has chicken in it, I won't eat it.
