  1. With beans, nuts, legumes, sprouts, vegetables, fruits, soy.

    AND vegetarians are healthier then meat-eaters.


  2. It's easy! We do it exactly the way non-vegetarians maintain health. We eat a wide variety of foods that include all essential nutrients (carbs, healthy fats, protein, vitamins, minerals), we stay hydrated, we get exercise, we don't eat food that's gone bad or hang out around people with contagious diseases, we go to the doctor when we're sick, we pay attention to the signals our bodies are telling us, etc. Everybody needs the same things to stay healthy.

    I am vegetarian and I am very heallthy. One does not need meat to survive. I get protein from things like eggs, milk, cheese, my veggie burgers, spinach, and tons more places too! ppl say u need meat but you relly dont, and are much better off not putting rotting carcasses into ur body. It takes the human intestines over 2 days on average to break down meat and digest it fully, veggies however are fully digested and broken down in 1 to 1 1/2 days.. so yea.

    I also feel much better abt myself b/c I know that some poor animal doesnt have to suffer and be murdered just for my pleasure.

    Even Vegetarians consume too much protein.

    In Star Trek – the original series – Spock is a vegetarian.

    Star Trek – The Next Generation (Captain Picard, Will Riker, Deanna Troi, etc) everyone but Worf the Klingon is a vegetarian.

    Agreed, those examples are both Science Fiction T.V. - but they make the point that eating dead animals isn’t logical or healthy.

    I’m no psycho vegetarian and don’t care what you eat.

    I eat what keeps me healthy – that doesn’t include a substance that raises cholesterol or clogs my arteries. I will never need heart bypass surgery or require drugs like Lipitor. Can someone who consumes “meat” make such a claim?


  5. Protein is not a big problem. My teacher is such a liar. She said that no single plant contains protein makes me believe that you can only get it from meat. to you can get it from beans, tofu, nuts and if your allergic to seeds or nuts, rice and grains. If you search in internet once for vegan protein, you will see a lot of them.

    Vitamin B12 is a big problem. vegan source of Vitamin B12 are mostly fermented products like miso. But not proven as active vitamin B12  But guess what. Vitamin B12 deficiency is very rare in vegan society. I don't know why.

    Vitamin D is not only a big problem for vegans, But also for meat eaters. Best source of Vitamin D is through sun. Milk is also a good source. That's why milk consumers live longer. But their are also a vegan source of Vitamin D. Spirulina and Shiitake mushroom(Vitamin D2)

    I do believe that I am much healthier now that I don't eat meat or animal products.

    As long as vegetarians eat a well-balanced diet filled with fresh fruit, fresh veggies, beans, legumes and whole grains, it's easy to maintain good health.

    By not eating meat, vegetarians eliminate excess cholesterol that comes from meat (our bodies actually make our own cholesterol and it is the right amount). They also avoid the extra fat that is found in meat. There are good fats and bad fats...the bad fats tend to be found in meat.
