How do viruses multiply ?

i have general herpes. and i was wondering how does the virus multiply.

  1. what are general herpes? if you mean genital, the herpes cells divide themselves.


  2. they invade a regular cell, then input their information in, so that the regular cell divided or produce new virus cell.
