How do we get comcast to give us a NEW cable box/dvr?

We've had to exchange our box at least 5 times and they're always used, old and complete c**p. Today we had one with a harddrive that died on us. Last time we exchanged we called and they said they'd bring us a new one. The guy came out with a used one and had the nerve to say "next time you should ask for a new one". We called today and they refused to give us a new one.

HOW DO WE GET A NEW ONE? we pay so much per month we deserve it

All cable boxes are recycled. Once it is returned, it should go to the warehouse and be checked, then shipped out again. You can always go into your local payment center and speak to a rep there. If they can not help you, ask to speak to a supervisor.
