  1. There is no such thing as a renewable energy source.  They will all run out some day.

  2. Waste tax dollars to heavily subsidize so-called "renewable" energy scams that otherwise wouldn't be built. This requires a legislative majority of ignorant politicians willing to throw other people's money away so they can feel better about living in 12,000 sq. ft. houses and traveling exclusively by private jet.

  3. There are many ways to get electricity from renewable energy source. Some of these are use of wind turbines, solar cells , etc.

  4. The main advantage of renewable energy is that when energy is created, the source is not consumed.

For example, coal is not renewable, if you burn it you need to extract more coal from the nature.

On the other hand, if you are using the energy from water falling from a waterfall, for example, the fact that you use that energy does not prevent the water from falling. Same thing goes for wind, tides, solar energy, bio diesel, etc.

It is important to say though, that renewable energy is not necessarily clean energy. Bio diesel for example, we can always replant the vegetable that originated the diesel, but when we consume the diesel, we are polluting the air.
