How do we get from New Delhi to Rameshwaram Temple?

Make reservations on Gluck Airways at the New Delhi airport. The owners name is Rajneesh Gluckenspiel but you can call him Joey. It's about a 45 minute flight aboard an old Dakota.

its another end of india.. delhi is up north and rameshwaram is in south...

you will get really tired by train , could take couple of days or more...

and money wise will work out equal if you fly or take train.,... ( i am talking about first class or reservation )

go by go air or kingfisher or air deccan there are lots of domestic cheap flights ...

From Nizamudeen, take the direct train to Madurai.  It is roughly 42 to 44 hrs journey.  From Madurai, you can take another train or cab to reach Rameshwaram.  It is just 240 kms from Madurai.  

The other way is to come to Chennai and from there take Sethu Express which also passes thro` Madurai.

you can take a flight or train to chennai and enroute to madurai there is a very famous temple (madurai meenakshi temple there) from there you need to take a taxi or bus to rameshwaram temple enrouth paramagudi and ramanatha puram.

There is no direct train/Flight. So come down to Chennai and then catch a train/Bus to Rameshwaram.
