How do we get our new 52"samsung tv in fullscreen?

Except for movies everything else shows the size picture of 40".Our picture options are highlighted in 16.9 ,zoom1, and zoom2.We are set on 16.9

it is all about the input signals.

are you watching cable with a component or composite connections (you want component).

if the cable is hooked up with component or hdmi then go into the settings menu and make sure it is out putting 16x9 and 1080i.
