  1. At conception the embryo contains what is called a "unisexual but bipotential gonad". That means that at conception male and female reproductive organs are identical. However, after a time the y chromosome in males sets off a cascade of events which eventually transforms the "unisexual" gonad into male internal reproductive organs. The development of female internal organs is the "default" program, requiring no activating/deactivating hormones. These early fetal reproductive systems will then begin to secrete the appropriate male/female hormones at puberty to produce the external characteristics such as b*****s in females and beard growth in males.

  3. The same way we get a heart, a liver, an eye ect....they programed to develop within a fetus.  Pretty awesome!  That's why the creation and birth of a baby is a miralce.
