Question:

How do we get rid of a spammer/scammer in the Gambling Category?

Merit F is just spamming and scamming Yahoo Answers.

It appears that he creates a new account every day, uses it to ask questions, answers his own questions with huge cut and paste files loaded with links to a site that he writes for. He admits he writes there in his posts. Then he comes back the next day, closes out the question as the alternate Yahoo Account, and gives himself the best answer.

Notice the dates of the members joining, how they never seem to have answered questions, and how Merit F usually seems to get the first answer.

Just pure Yahoo Answers Abuse.

Here are the names of the accounts it appears that he has created.

Just check the history and you will see the patterns!

Please report him, let’s get this spammer/scammer out of here!

  1. Just take a look in the Business & Finance section and seatch under "loan" if you really want to see spam/scammers in full glory.  It is absolutely crazy, and these guys can and do get money from people who are desperate for a loan.

They get reported, profile deleted and then just enter a new profile, even with exactly the same ID again!

I have read from people that there are literally cafe loads of people typing these answers in internet cafes in Nigeria.

Yahoo simply doesn't block the IP address (even if it does say that it can in the TOS)

Trolls & Scammers rule unfortunately - it's sick & twisted, but all too common

  2. BAN HIS IP ADDRESS
