I have to do this project for my class, present the answer in about one of two minutes .. doesn't really matter.

but then i have to give the class materials and directions on how to perform this experiment. this is the tricky part.

does anybody have any idea on the answer to the question?

does anybody have any ideas on what I could give the class to represent this question. ex. tell them to rotate something around something that would represent the sun.

any materials at all that would represent this question?

thank you!

  1. Brush up Galileo. You will find your answer there.

  2. Nicolaus Copernicus was the first astronomer to propose a heliocentric cosmology. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolaus_Co...

Galileo Galilei was a follower of Copernicanism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo

Both made huge strides (though not accepted at the time) towards understanding the placement of the Earth in relation to the sun.
