  1. Pepsin works at pH 2. Hydrochloric acid is secreted by parietal cells of the stomach to work with pepsin. Also HCl denatured proteins and kill microorganisms or at least stop them from multiplying while food is being digested.

The stomach content is neutralized as it enters the small intestine by carbon bicarbonate.

  2. we produce stomach acid HCL to provide a suitable condition for pepsin enzyme to work efficiently. it is secreted by glands lining the stomach surface.

It is stimulated when peptides are detected at the stomach.

It is secreted along with pepsin and rennin and mucus, which all form a secretion called gastric juice

  3. It is created in a gland called the pancreus. It has a pH level 2 (very acidic) and breakes down microbes and bacteria. It does become less acidic over time, but its job needs it to be acidic to break down protein.

  4. We produce stomach acid mainly to kill any micro organisms entering the body on food etc. I don't understand the second part of your question :S
