How do we properly define Last Song Syndrome?

Please cite one or more of your or other people's experiences regarding LSS. Just needing some additional infos for my incoming informative speech in my speech comm class. :-)

To me it's when a song really makes you feel good. Just hearing it makes you smile and forget any stress you might have. You listen to it and it sticks with you for the rest of the day.

I have a song on my in my desk top on my computer. When ever I'm sitting at my computer and feel stressed about something. I just click on the icon and listen to it a few times, it sticks in my head and I feel great the rest of the day.
