  1. I take it that you are arriving on the Eurolines bus which stops at the Galieni  (Parc de Bagnolet) Metro station. The Galieni station is in Zone 2.

To get from the Eurolines bus stop to the Gare du Nord take Metro line 3 marked "Direction : Pont de Levallois-Becon"  to the Republique stop. This takes about 9 minutes.

Look for signs that say "Correspondence Bobigny-Pablo-Picasso" and follow them to change to Metro line 5 marked "Direction : Bobigny-Pablo-Picasso" which will take you to the Gare du Nord in about 5 minutes.

  2. Yes, it comes in at Ring 2 on Monday-Thursday and Ring 3 on Fridays.  To get there take the RER F from the Bagnolet to metro station Gare de Lyon then transfer from there to SNCF train to Gare de Nord or you can also just take the "Ceinture" line or "tram" line to Port de Villete (it's prettier).  It is free unless it is on the "tram" then it's 10.50 euro.  The total trip time will be 45 minutes.

  3. it will probably just be easier to get a taxi.

bit more expensive than metro but a LOT easier, especially if you have suitcases.

people on the metro can be pretty rude..

Ive done many journeys from and to different train stations in Paris and taxis are the best and easiest way to get around, and you can see many of the sights from the window!
