How do we see the monitor screen to prevent head ache and eye problems?

  1. Take breaks every 20 minutes and look away for 20 seconds.  Take longer breaks if you are on the computer for a long amount of time.

    Have adequate room lighting, but make sure there is not glare on the computer screen.

    Have the screen at least arm's length away, further if possible.

    Keep your eyes lubricated by using eye drops or blinking often.

    See your optometrist if you are having any blurred vision, as some glasses may help.
