  1. which is the question-the threat to tell on a stupid answer (apparently we can't tell on a stupid question) or the question about water?.  To answer that implied question, I think that there is enough hatred in this world and there really is no cause to add to it, although clearly some people take pleasure in it for some odd reason I do not understand very well.  I am sorry that you find this to happen often enough that you need to mention it in your question.

The main question (about water) is actually a reasonable one. The fault lies in the assumption that water is destroyed when we use it.  It isn't.  The water you drink today becomes someone else's drinking water tomorrow (or next week, or in ahundred years).  There is no loss of water.

In effect, we don't really use it, we just borrow it.

  2. The water that we have on the earth today has been here in the same amount from just after the earth was formed.  We use the same water over and over again.  Fortunately, we have a natural purification system, which is called the hydrologic cycle or water cycle.  The hydrologic cycle consists of four steps.

    Evaporation (and transpiration)

    Condensation

    Precipitation

    Collection

The evaporation step is the purification step.

    Example:

Take dirt and mix it with water.  That produces mud.  Set the container of mud outside undisturbed.  The water will evaporate leaving the dirt behind.  The water that evaporates is pure, clean water.

Ideally when that water returns to earth in the form of precipitation it would be clean.  Unfortunately, in some areas of the world the air pollution is so bad that the clean water absorbs the pollution forming acid rain.

  3. Dude, you could be drinking recycled dinosaur pee! Ewwwww!

  4. The Earth is a (mostly) closed system. Water is not destroyed when you wash your hands, or drink it, or water the plants. It all goes back into the system, as sweat, runoff, waste water. About the only way to lose water is to split it, with electricity, into hydrogen and oxygen.

  5. God recycles the water.  Check out Ecclesiastes 1:7.  There's also something in the Psalms, but I couldn't find it right now.

Scientists call it the water cycle.
