How do weathermen know which hurricane is which?

hurricanes are named, but how do weathermen and the men tracking them know the difference between each differnet hurricane???

i always wondered that.

  1. Hurricanes usually don’t come to close together so scientists can easily point out which one is which. However if the hurricanes do come close they place this thingy near it to help them tell the difference between the two and most likely when hurricanes come together they merge so there is no need to tell the difference. LOL


  2. Each starts as a tropical storm at a different time. They watch it evolve and move around during it's entire life cycle. They don't usually cross paths, and if they do they can combine into one storm.
