  1. it's ouija boards  lol

  2. They're called ouija boards, and they work because someone in the group is pushing.  Sure, everyone there will deny it, but it's true.

And think about it--even if you believed ghosts were real, wouldn't you think they'd have something better to do with themselves than thrill giggly teenagers with spooky pronouncements about who likes whom?

They'd have to be really, REALLY bored.

Here's another question: if they DID work, why wouldn't our leaders all be using them to consult with highly intelligent people who have passed on, asking for advice?  Winston Churchill, JFK, Albert Einstein, etc?  Or for that matter, forensic scientists could use them to "speak" to murdered victims, find out who killed them.  If ouija boards worked for real, they wouldn't be marketed by Hasbro for kids to play with, you can bet on that.

The fact of the matter is, it's just silly fun.  Have a laugh, and don't take it seriously.  Just look around at your friends and try to figure out who is tricking you!

One last point--if you're playing by yourself, realize that your subconscious is a powerful thing.  If you're spelling out a message, think of it as a hint to yourself, maybe something you didn't want to acknowledge in your conscious mind.  But realize this: YOU are pushing.

  3. number one learn to spell no pun intended.

number two they dont it depends on you to do the work

and psyic lol yourself into thinking it was something else...

  4. well you're supposed to put the board in the middle of the group of people you're playing with. Then "ask" the board a question aloud with every ones fingertips on the piece that is supposed to move on an answer. The problem is that someone in the group usually screws around with the game by pushing the answer piece on a certain answer, this ruins the fun since "spirits and ghosts" are supposed to give you an answer.

  5. well thats it in a nutshell... "if I believe in them or not"

My dad was a HUGE believer in not playing with those, he was for sure they were an invitation to the spirits around you.

Do I believe... I have no idea. I hear about hauntings, spirits, etc... but I have NEVER had any experience with them.

Not sure i would want to though.

What I have heard is how they work.....(hear say... no expert though)... You sit around the floor or table and close your eyes. You ask the board to allow spirits to talk to you through the board like a channel reciever. No spirit moves the token but I guess "you" do, through the thoughts they are giving you.

????? then again... I dont mess with that stuff for fear if wetting myself

  6. The ouija board is a game.  The people using them make them work.  The more you believe in them, probably the better they work.  It is a case of mind over matter.  They play upon your susceptibility and fears.  Here are a couple of links that discuss it.
