  1. I have an autistic child, and he doesn't like the weighted vests at all.


  2. it is mostly for sensory processing disorder and the kids need pressure on their skin, touch.  so the vest gives that sensation constantly

  3. Not all children with Autism will like the weighted vest. For those that do it provides weighted pressure, and that pressure is soothing to them. It calms their body down, and for others its just purely sensory.

  4. some provide pressure which helps relax them so they can focus better...
