Question:

How do wireless video senders work?

I want to watch TV outside (I know, silly). I plan to get a wireless video sender and connect the receiver to a TV and the sender to a DVD player/cable box. I've heard I can use this so I don't have to pay more for cable. So does that mean I can use a DVD player/cable box that is already connected via wires to another TV and add the sender? That means the DVD player/cable box will be hooked up to 2 TV's at once. And if they're connected to 2 TV's, can I watch different stuff on the 2 different TV's at the same time?

  1. To connect your DVD/cable/etc to a TV and the wireless sender you will also need a video switch (most of these devices have only one output).

No you can't watch two different programs - you need two Tuners for that.

Think of the device as a cable - but wireless. Note. It DOES NOT support HD transmission.

    These devices are not new.
