How do would i get a passport in ri?!??

Question

i am a minor, and if my dad got a passport does that mean that i need one still?? and my little sister does she need one two.

we want to go ot canada and i need to know who needs passports and where can we get them?!?

If you are driving to Canada, you all need your birth certificates (orginial with the seal) and a picture ID ... by  land passports will not be needed until June 2009.

If you are flying to Canada, then yes, you all need passports.

As for how long it takes to get your passport, it all depends. They say 4-6 weeks. However, I received mine within  a week and  for others it took 2 months or more.

I would plan to apply for a passport at least 6-9 months before you plan to go out of the country to be on the safe side.

In Emergency situations, you can do a rush on them.

You can apply for your passports at one of your local passport centers or post offices.

You can fill out the needed forms online and print them out to be prepared.

Yes i THINK that you all need to get them. also you can get one and find out more at your local US post office.

Yes, you and your sister need one. You can get them at the nearest post office. Passports take about 4 weeks to be sent to you so get them quickly.
