i know the basic concpet is to keep certain players after one season, and carry then over to the next season, while you redraft the remaining players... but yahoo doesnt really have much on keeper leagues. And what they do have i dont really understand. I want to know how the draft works, and how it differs from regular drafts, and what i would have to do as the commisioner after the draft, or after the first full season.

Can a team leave after one season? and have his players be put in the draft or something similar? and can you add another team after the first season?

thanks

  1. basically is what happens is that you have to keep at least two players you choose after the fifth round for the next season

  2. It sounds like you know about the basics of the keeper league. As the comish, you would set that up on the league. I have never used Yahoo for a keeper league, so I do not know how easy or hard it is. If they dont handle it, you can still have the keeper league. As the comish you would just set up the teams with their keepers.

It is tough to add a new team to the league, because then they have no keeper and it is hard to join a league where you dont have a top player. Main reason why I don't do keepers anymore, the guy who drafts bad and has no good keeper has no interest in staying and donating money to others.
