my mom is a teacher, and they can recommend that a child get tested for dyslexia. people with dyslexia will read slowly and reverse words or phrases.

the person that conducts the test is teh EDUCATIONALPSYCHOLOGIST

if you are still in school-your guardian sends a letter to the special educatin department requesting that you be evaluted for special ed services----it's free

a college should also be able to do this

otherwise--you look in the yellow pages for an educational pyschologust

You can ask your school or college if they have an educational phyciatrist who will run a series of puzzles and a test with spelling, math and solving problems.

i don't think you can get tested, you should know if you cant read the words or letters or #'s, then you should go 2 a doctor and he'll tell you wut 2 do.

If you talk to your regular doctor and your parents they can help find some one that can administer test to find out what kind of dyslexia you have. You can also talk to a teacher at school. They might refer you to the school counselor who will help you talk with your parents and help make suggestions on what can be done.
