How do yo go about getting a drivers license in cedar park, texas?

i'm 19 never had a permit and i'm about to move to texas. what's required to get a license in texas. i know in some states once you're over 18 you dont have to take the driving class. you can take the test to get your permit and then your license. how does that work in texas

Same way you do in any other part of Texas.

Fill out the form.  Since you are over 18, you won't need the parents signatures.  http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/ftp/forms/d... and take it in.  Sign up for the test, and it you pass, you're licensed.
