  1. When I got into a scuff in school with a bully (I was picked on for three years, day in day out.) I was 14 when I finally snapped and freaked.

I woke up that morning and somehow felt "different." I couldn't explain it but it was a sort of calm. Usually by then I'd be practically shaking with fear for what would happen that day. But, that morning, I felt...good. I couldnt' understand it.

And then when I walked through the school gate without even saying hello to my friends, I went straight up to the girl making my life h**l and gave her on quick left hook. Thing was even though she was on the floor I couldn't stop myself. I weighed 5 stone at 14. I was tiny. Yet it took 4 teachers to pull me off her that morning.

The way my dad told me worked though, even if it does seem a bit wrong by today's standards, lol!

This way was "if there's one on his/her own, smack them up with your fists. If there's two of them, grab whatever you can to smack them with. If there are three or more of them, run like f**k and then when you see them on their own you pick them off that way."

So, I'd say combine the two. Outbox them but if anyone else steps in you gotta be the dirtiest player in the game.

Fear didn't happen, it all happened so quick. It was more an adrenaline rush. I knew that day, win or lose, she wasn't ever gonna pick on me again because I had become a less than easy target for her.

I got so angry I just wanted to hurt her. Wrong I know but felt better having battered seven shades of the stinky stuff out of her. She never picked on me again...STAND UP TO THE BULLY.

Don't think. The more you think the less chance you have of successfully defending a counter attack.

If you do it proper though, your enemy will just hit the floor and you won't have to do much else. Just whatever you do, do NOT turn your back on them as you walk away.

  2. Stick to your strengths and try to capitalize on any weakness or mistakes you see. If you're good at boxing then box and don't worry too much.Never worry of what your opponent can do to you before the fight. That is where I see a lot of fights go wrong.Even some pro boxers were scared when they fought Tyson and even Kimbo today. You could just see it in their eyes. When that happens you'll most likely hesitate at crucial moments and get your *** handed to you. Many fights are lost in the preparation stages.Just concentrate on your game plan and try to make him fight your fight. That should take care of the scared part.As far as adrenaline, it used to be good for me cause it kept me on my toes.Be careful though too much excitement could make you a little wild.

  3. if your confident you souldn't be scared.

    He should be scared.
