How do you, or do you, straighten full bangs?

Hi I got my haircut yesterday and got full bangs which I've never had before. I'm going out soon so I decided to straighten my bangs but when I did they became all puffy and kinda non-straight looking even though I used to lowest possible heat, I've tried hairspray on a brush and my normal hair serum but there not budging. Is there a certain way you should straighten them? I'm kind of having a hard time getting them into the straightener as well because there so short and I'm not used to them, I think that may be it as well. Any help? Thanks.

  1. its easier to wet them and blow them dry with a roundbrush.

  2. if they wont budge then pin them back today and when you have a day to your self experiment and find out which way works best because you want to solve this problem right away or else it will follow you around for a long time. you could:

-keep straightening it but try to not burrn yourself, dont straighten the whole bangs at once do tiny pieces at a time. & a lot of products will make it look greasy

-or push them off to the side like sidebangs or sideswept, ya knoww?

  3. While they are wet blow dry them with the dryer fairly close.  This always flattens my bangs.  Then use the flat iron to smooth them out more.  You may just have to wait until they grow out some.  Then spray them with hairspray.
