Hi, I want to create an effect similar to this - http://softwarebackups.org/Desc/1830/1.jpg

I'm trying to do it in Illustrator CS3, but I have all the other Adobe software, if it's easier to do in another program. I've created the butterfly shape, and I have a photo I want to cut out from - these are on separate layers. I can't figure out what to do next, please help!

Thanks!

  1. Make sure the butterfly shape is one completed outline and have it above the photo. Select both items and go to "Object" and "Clipping Mask".
