How do you 'know' when something about the world is 'true'?

  1. You know that you know it, by infinite wisdom from God.    If you have faith in the voice that speaks truth to you, you can look at a thing and know truth about it having never been there or touched it.


  2. My notebook is blue, that is a true fact.  I see it, I can compare the color blue to other colors....

    Logic and fact.


  3. 8  You don't. The brain can't tell the difference between perception and reality. That is why is is so useful to get training on seeing multiplee perspectives.

  4. Many philosophers (Kant being one of them, others for different reasons) believed that you can not know anything about the outside world. We can only know how we perceive the outside world.  I tend to agree. So, you can't know something about the world to be true. This is not relativism, though. You can know how we perceive the world.

  5. When you feel it in your soul, when you look inside yourself and see.

  7. it doesn't really matter as long as it is true to you.
