How do you Find out if you have a dualoverhead cam or a single overhead cam I have a 2000 Ford Focus SE.?

Open the hood and look at the engine, if it is a dual cam engine the spark plugs will be on top of the engine right in the middle of the valve cover between the cams.  If it is a single cam engine the spark plugs are located on the front of the engine down by the exhaust manifold.

just look at it

if theres one cam - single

two cams - dual

Look at the motor.If you see DOHC its duel.If it say SHOC then its a single.
