How do you Free hard Disk Space ?

You 'free' it by deleting files/folders you no longer need or want. Then I recommend you run Defrag

Defrag your hard drive, delete old files and unused programs, that is a start

Do a disk clean up.

Empty your recycle bin.

Empty your temporary files.

Delete files you dont need.

Start/Control Panel/Fonts, right click and delete as many as it will let you, the necessary ones won't delete, or will reappear, but you can recover up to 1G doing this.

Also, look in Control Panel for Power Options, enter and if the Hibernate option is checked, uncheck it.

You can also go into System in Control Panel and set your System Restore to half of what it is to save a lot of space too.
