How do you Heal a bruised foot? ?

I was skateboarding a month ago and after i was done with the day my big toe, that big ball on the bottom of my foot, and the side of that ball was hurting me.

It stops hurting if I just chill on it but as soon as I start skating again it starts throbbing

I think I bruised some stuff in my foot, Is there a trick I can do to make it heal so I can skate comfortably again?

  1. Use R.I.C.E.

    Rest - Keep off it.

    Ice - for 15 to 20 minutes at a time, then leave off for about 20 minutes, repeat.

    Compression - Wrap it to reduce swelling

    Elevate - Put it at or above the level of your heart for pain management

    That's standard for helping injuries, but you're supposed to do it immediately after injury. If it keeps up you'll probably want to see a doctor.
