  1. 1. think of a past experiences

    2. YOU REALLY NEED TO GET INTO CHARACTER

    3. cheat out if u r on stage so ppl can see ur face

    4. do anything you would naturally do in that emotion, unless ur character is unnatural

  2. Well, I think of past experience and muster up all the emotions that I had at the time. For example, if I need to cry in a scene, I think of times when people close to me had died. When I need to laugh, I think of all of the funny times that my best friend and I have had togeather. Practice makes perfect. Whenever I'm home alone, I always practice in front of my mirror =]

p.s. its 10 points for best answer, not 12....=]

  3. Usually when i perform i first learn alot about the character which really helps me get into it.

As far as through the eyes it is just a matter of potraying what ever emotion the character is feeling and turning the emotion into something you've expierence whether its if the character is happy relate it to a happy event in your life which will make it show through your eyes

if i'm mtrying to show the audience its hard to show what i feel i usually wait till two other characters are talking or if i'm by myself and let a flood of emotions pour out

the biggest thing for showing any kkind of emotion is to feel linked to the character!

  4. The mirror is your friend.  Trust the mirror!

Think of a time that you felt sad... or watch a sad movie, look at a sad picture, listen to a sad song.  Watch what happens to your face.  Your eyes drift downwards, your eyebrows sink, your lower jaw goes back a bit.  Your voice may crack if you're on the verge of crying.

Now think of something that makes you really angry, like that jerk that cut you off this morning.  Your brows sink in towards your nose, your eyes narrow, your teeth grit and your lips part and widen.  You may speak louder and clearer, or possibly even very softly, but usually forcefully either way.
