if you want it down town just walk around the area. if you want like cheap rent but in the heart of the city i suggest u go to like bloor college area where all the university kids are. that way the tenants will be more leniant on the pricing. itll also be a lot easier to get an apartment down town sans car. but yea. my suggestion just take a day n wonder the city for aparments n write down numbers if your interested in a location. also brunswick street is very popular n pretty reasonable. there houses though but they have like room rentals which are really nice with patios n back yards usually! good luck!!

I always check now classifieds, craigslist, and viewit.ca (has pictures).
