Question:

How do you a play a Bb major scale in thirds on the alto saxophone?

In band class everyone seems to have this memorized and i don't even know how to play it at all!!! if you could just give me the notes in the order they're played for thirds on this scale, that'd be awesome!!!

    What goes up must go down though.

    Your Bb scale in thirds:

      ascending: Bb-D-C-Eb-D-F-Eb-G-F-A-G-Bb-A-C-Bb

      descending: Bb-G-A-F-G-Eb-F-D-Eb-C-D-Bb-C-A-Bb

    Bb concert scale in thirds:

      ascending: G-B-A-C-B-D-C-E-D-F#-E-G-F#-A-G

      descending: G-E-F#-D-E-C-D-B-C-A-B-G-A-F#-G
